Finally scored a monster show tank for my africans

I just picked up this used tank from a great LFS owner. It was set up for salt in someone's wall before they sold house and needed it out. He sealed the bottom sump holes for me. I'm a canister guy.

Tank is 5' x 30" x 18.5" Glass is 1/2 thick with Euro bracing and black silicone job. 144 US Gallons

Now I need to build a family room friendly stand for it. I'm waiting till this project is complete so my next post will be a soup to nuts build with pictures. In the meantime, here's what I'm starting with.

I think you mean 5 x 18.5 x 30 but that is a great looking tank. Perfect for what you want to do. Congrats on the pickup.

I love that tank! I love tall tanks in general.

I currently have a 60x18x26 120g and really wish it had the height like that one you got!

But no big deal cause I'm setting up my 210g thats 29" tall.
