finally setting up a puffer and archer fish setup.

I finally am setting up a archer fish tank and adding a couple green spotted puffers. and was wondering what other fish i could look into getting.
The tank is a 90 gal with a rena XP4 filter and i may add another filter if needed.
any info would help me out.

also what kind of live plants can tolerate brakish water

Archers are gr8. Mine are freshwater ( Toxotes Blythii). Was fortunate to get them. Their spitting skills r amazing.

Almost every plant that can tolerate a puffer can live in brackish.

Maybe some of the larger goby species. Java moss can grow in brackish. But it might take over the tank if not trimmed

yeah mudskippers would be cool or some sort of killfish if you are into those.

I know this is an older thread, but wanted to add that with mudkippers you will have to provide their land portion, which will eliminate some water volume...i prefer mudskipper alone or with fish that can live in the 'shallow' water, like anableps
