I am curious if earthworms, salamanders, and bugs are good food for my fish? This would save me from having to make unexpected trips to the lfs. I have peacock bass, african cichlids, jack dempsy and a green terror. All these fish are between 2 and 4 inches. Let me know what you guys think, and if you can think of any other outdoor foods, I live here in Maine.

Most salamanders are endangered or threatened (not to mention poisonous), please don't feed em to your fish. Earthworms and non-toxic bug species can be great, but beware of potential poisoning from pesticides or fertilizers.
