finally. after i don't even know how many months, i got my rtg to eat hikari sticks.
i originally had the rtg in its own tank and continued to do 2-3 week starve regiments. the best i could get was taking the sticks but spitting out pieces.
then i moved the rtg into my cichlid tank (my malawi cichlids only nibble here and there, so i wasn't too worried about him getting too hurt), i figured that since they are all aggressive eaters, the rtg could learn from them and learn how to fight for food and not be picky. and after a month of feeding regular spiriluna flakes, cichlid pellets, dried gammarus, and hikari sticks...IT FINALLY WORKED, he takes everything now, even flakes surprisingly. he has barely grown since i first got him, but now with pellets i'm hoping he'll grow nice and healthy very soon.
here's some vids of my fish eating
