This last weekend, I obtained and set up a new 210 gallon to replace the 125 (6x1.5x~2).

Tell me what you think. I apologize for the terrible photography.


Tank: Oceanic 210-gallon (7x2x2)
Substrate: Red S-grade 3M ColorQuartz (150 lbs.)
Decor: 2 Fancy plants giants, silk plants, driftwood, river rocks
Filtration: (2) Rena XP3's, Emperor 400 (working on adding more)
Current: AC110 PowerHead
Lighting: Dual 36" Hagen Glo T5 HO (Actinac in rear, 10K in front), Dual 9V Cold Cathode Moonlight (going to add another same setup)

Stocklist (appx. sizes): 10" Polypterus lapradei, 10" Polypterus ornatipinnis, 10" Black Ghost Knife, 10" Soribum lima, 6" Hydrolycus tatauaia, 6" Datnioides polota, 4.5" Cyphotilapia frontosa, (2) 4" Parachromis managuensis

Thanks, everyone! When I went to the CQ distributor to see all the samples, I decided to go with the red, but had second thoughts after I saw it out of the bag and in the tank, but it's looking better and all the comments make me feel a lot better about it. It is actually a little redder (less orange) than the pictures depict. I wanted something that was different and looked good and it seems like I succeeded. Hopefully, I can find a nice, big piece of driftwood to add this spring.

I love the ColorQuartz. There was something else I wanted to say, but I can't remember...

Bonus points: can anyone tell me what duck and fish are mounted on the wall? :)
 
For so many fish it looks so empty. Just wait till some of those guys get bigger! It will look amazing!
