I'm so excited one of my Indo Datnoid decided to eat Hikari Sinking pellets. Now my next mission is to get all my other Indo Datnoid to take the pellets. Does anyone have good tip on how to get the entire tiger pack to eat sinking pellets?

Starve them a little bit is my method now. Spread the days out on pellet feeding. I still have 2 stubborn 6" Indos and few NGT's that are not doing well with sinking pellets. Good luck as we both will eventually succeed, lol!!!

Marinate pellets with chopped prawn and bloodworm. Leave overnight in fridge.
Then feed daily. Takes 3-4 weeks they start to take the marinate pellets,,, only 1 or 2 eac feed.
Then continue with marinate for several more weeks. Then slowly put less prawns in the mix. 3-4 months later they usually take dry pellets.
Good luck

It's alot off effort I know. It of you want it that badly stick at it.

Alternatively you can try eat or die method , just feed pellets ONLY .

Thanks guys for the help. I think the Flagtail Prochilodus that I had in the tank that convinced my datnoid to take the pellets because every time the Flagtail sucks on the pellets the dantoid was observing the behavior by nipping on the pellets.
