today was the first day my 3" bass eat some choped up shrimp and did not spit it out. so my question is should i just feed them shrimp for now on or should i still do feeders here and there? i will try bloodworms and beefheart tomarrow. i want them to grow at a good pace but i want them to be healthy as possible at the same time. i have a 8" niger catfish and a 7" garaffe catfish to clean up any uneating food laying around the tank that they spit out so it never goes to waste. just looking to be pointed in the right direction.
oh and i lost 1 p-bass in about a week. i am down to 19 now. he had cloud eye and was very skinny and would not eat. i seperated him and treated him but he would not pull through for me.

awsome.. feeding cichla now becomes easier

Forget the feeeders!! Do not destroy a hard earned accomplishment.

Mine ate, yesterday also, for the first time, small shrimps. Mine also love blodworms, and if they're the white kind, even more so.

Suppliment vitamins ;)

stick with the shrimp, congrats on getting them of feeders! :)
