find a moon crab...

Alot of LFS's have those.I had one once,aren't very active and don't feed much......coulda' been the one i had too though.

All of the moon's Ive seen are very active but IMO crabs are stupid compared to crayfish so we switched over to crays...

Crays are awesome,just watch out for tankmates!!! I got a cool Apricot Cherax that took one of my Prawns claws off!!

I had a 7" Midas that killed one of my crayfish before. I might get a blue one or something then, I haven't decided yet.

We have two blues...about 4 electric blues and two big reds... We keep them with approperatly sized fish and don't have a lot of problems.

Has anyone had a problem w/ their crabs or crays getting eatin' by piranhas if anyone has any? Mine ate a couple crays before.

The key seems to be giving the crays some good hiding places in the tank. They are really smart and given a chance they can survive most any fish.

They are also a LOT faster than people give them credit for...at least until they try catching one in a net...LOL
