So this morning i found that someone was going at the vatf ....my guess is the 7-8 inch flagtail but not sure any guesses.....these are tankmates

6 inch vatf
6....4 inch tiger sds
4....4 inch duriventre sds
7-8 inch flagtail
8-9 inch black arowana
9-10 inch tig catfish

Tail looks a bit shredded. Maybe the other vatf.

I dont know much about the duriventre species of silver dollars so i was thinking maybe they were picking at him

Ok never mind about the ATF. My guess would be the silver dollars as well.

Flagtail is my guess.......

Short time I kept them never had them get along with anything toothy..... Mine picked on Tats, Scombs, Rhaphs, Armatus, even Dorado if I remember correctly. I know the Armatus was what pushed me to ditch them, well, that and the sucking on the rays.....

Did you figure this out? I've had semi aggressive flagtails before but they never caused damage to a tail like that, more just a chase here and there. Without knowing the personality of the duriventre I'd keep my eye on them.

Nope not yet but the duriventre and flagtail were moved to a diff tank so guess we will see if its the tig .....

Hi I've had a flagtail keep all my spotted silver dollars pushed up into one corner and not let em out but the only real damage they can cause is through stress I think which is why I removed mine too, as has been said prob the tig and then maybe silver dollars picking at the already damaged fin
