I think there's a couple big acrylic tanks fs in Vegas in the classifieds section on this forum.....

Or, mwcustoms, triton, truvu can ship you a new one, and they seem to have pretty good prices.

grab that 240 gallon acrylic on craigslist for $400.. that's cheap bro. if you want a new 240 gallon you're looking at at least 2 to 3k.

All the good places have been mentioned already! If you are in Vegas look up ATM. They have a show on Animal Planet right now called Tanked! They do custom work as well as regular tanks. Wouldn't hurt to look them up since they do a lot of their business in that area. Glasscages.com also offers a lot of stuff on there web site. They also offer custom additions to there basic tanks so you have more play with them. TruVu Aquariums have good prices and really nice tanks. Their customer service is great, and there shipping fees are pretty low. Good luck. I'd say take Jimmys' advice and get the 240g listed for $400. That's a steal if its in good shape.

TruVu is running a sale on there 240g that is 96x24x24 for $1,489

Buying a used acrylic tank has some specific things you'll want to look at to evaluate the condition. You'll want to examine the seams like a glass tank and make sure they look good. You will want to check if/how much the tank bows when it's filled with water (how much the front panel sticks out when you look from the side). Scratches can be buffed out if they're light (your nail doesn't catch on it) but deep ones are going to be a lot harder to get rid of. You'll want to check for crazing, which looks like small cracks in the acrylic itself, and while a small amount is probably not a big issue if there is a lot then it could signify the tank isn't holding up well. Finally you'll want to check where and how it's drilled, as most large acrylic tanks will be, and make sure you can work with the plumbing how you want it.
