I have 14 inch long peacock bass, a 10 inch long maneguense/jaguar cichlid, and a 9 inch long jack dempsy.. my jaguar cichlid just absolutely bullies my peacock bass and beats him up, i thought adding the dempsy would help the peacock bass by putting enough aggressive fish in there so the jaguar cichlid backs off a little but the jaguar cichlid is just a complete bully to the peacock bass but doesnt even touch the dempsy.. any thought to a new tank mate to help balance out the tank to get the jaguar cichlid to stop? maybe more bass the same size? or even a different more aggressive fish?

More bass would work I believe

Given the tank size I would rehome the bass, 125 gallons is too small.

I have not heard good things about jags in a tank that size either. They only become more aggressive with time.

Tank size issues aside getting more aggressive fish is definitely not the answer in my opinion. More fish for it to target is a better idea to spread his aggression out otherwise he will just keep going for the easiest target(the peacock). Your tank does not really permit adding anymore fish though.
