finding something cool where you least expect it

was checking out a few lfs that I rarely go to and spotted this guy beating the crap out of a slightly smaller female in a 20 gallon tank. so, I had to do the chivalrous thing and rescue the female (by buying this male of course ). honestly I don't think the female is going to make it...this guy did quite a number on her. he's now in a 30 gallon by himself. I was really impressed by how this guy looked, but was stunned when I spotted the price on the tank. he was only $15 and he's a good 5". other lfs in Indy charge $10-$12 for 2-2.5" lil devils.

That's a nice Devil. They charge how much in Indy for a Red Devil?! That pretty pricey over here. They go for about $3 to $5 for a 2.5" over here (well...where I go anyways )

Good pickup on the fish....kinda makes me want to visit the stores i never go to...just to see if i can get any deals on cool fish

I found him at Pet Corral in Beech Grove.

I'm about 30 min north of indy Thanks for the link...I'll check it out
