Fine sand substrate vacuum question

I went with fine sand for my 75g substrate and I’m wondering if I should even worry about gravel vacuuming it ? My Clown Loaches seem to be doing a good job of devouring anything that even tries to accumulate on it so, do I need to worry about it? What says the consensus?

Key here is the depth of the substrate. If its over 2" I would still give it a periodic vac. If im keeping substrate in a tank I usually keep it around 1" and the sifting and burrowing fish usually keep it pretty clean.

It takes a few times to get the hang of vacuuming sand but not too difficult imo.
If you don't want the sand to be sucked up into the sink or bucket just either raise the gravel vac or crimp the hose.
