Ok so i have it all installed with the 3 canister filters..... have the 1gph drip nipple on and a ball valve turning the pressure to 1/4.
I took the incoming line and filled half a five gallon pail in an hour??? this is 2.5 gal even though my nipples i have tried state 1gph?
Is this normal?
Also does anyone using this system add salt say for comm injuries with arowana ect? And if so it it even worth it trying to chase the test kit to keep levels up?
Thanks for the help guys

that sounds about right on your drip nozzle. on my system i use adjustable nozzles for ease of cleaning and because sometimes i want to do a partial water change. i've found that in both pressurized and non-pressurized systems that adjustability is necessary to maintain a given flow.

How much freah water is too much would be my next question?
Ive tested the line in water and it checks out free of chlorine and chlorimines and i assume i can use the filters for 3 months minimum but how many gallons a day would be the max to change out?
