Doing some cleaning today and Decide to take a pic of my little devils while their wood was out so you can actually see them. This is my pair of Uroctonus mordax, northwest forest scorpions, and the female is looking very prego so im hoping for some F1 babies soon! The male is named Rusty because when he is in a good mood his claws Have a very rusty look. The female is nameless since she always hides in the logs and I haven't had a chance to really come up with anything good for her. Second pic is the female on my hand to show her size and how prego she currently is.

Thanks. So far so good. I had a male before this pair who lived for 4 years with no problems the whole time. As you can see they like their baby roaches and I always keep a few in the tank as a cleanup crew+snack for them.

You feed them roaches? I thought they were fed crickets. I'd actually like to have a scorpion but not if I had to deal with roaches.. lol one of my fears.

Mine are lazy and so I give them fresh born baby dubias since they refuse to chase down crickets. If I get babies I'll be feeding them xl flightless fruit flies.

Nice I have a friend that used to collect them from a greenbelt behind his house.

Well while they where breeding today the female sort of got a little too fiesty, so they are now separated and I'm hoping the male can pull through, but I'm pretty positive the female is very prego at this point though. Time will tell!
