what type of shading? its an addition to my old tat on top of it that doesnt have shading either. I had been thinking about doing that though

it would really make it stand out. an artist can advise you properly on the type of shading to do, but you could do some swirly cloud like things in the background, or just regular shading ... it would make it look less of like a stamp and really bring out how beautiful it is!
