I decided to tackle my drip system today. I've done enough questioning and reading about them and decided today was the day. My hardware store only had a 2gph drip emitter so I'm not using one at the moment. My r/o puts out 50 gallons a day so I'd be pretty close to 2gph anyways. I'm using 1/4" hose all the way to the tank. I drilled a hole in the sump where I have a 1/4" hose going to a condensate pump. The condensate pump used a 3/8" hose. I have the hose running behind my tv right now going into a 5 gallon bucket. I picked up a 3/8" to 1/4" fitting to connect a 1/4" hose to the 3/8" hose so I can route the rest of it to the bathroom, but for some reason it will not fit with the 1/4" hose. I'm just using the 5 gallon bucket just to make sure everything works and then I'll go back to the hardware store and get another fitting. I also got a new spigot and a couple of other fittings so I could attach my r/o to the sink while still being able to use the facet. Overall this little project took a little over an hour. It was extremely easy, once I got started.

Trying to upload pictures.

congrats! There is nothing like clean water you didn't have to change yourself. I pulled most of my drip emitters in exchange for adjustable valves. I was only using 1/2gph and they kept clogging. With the valve I can adjust each tank based on what's going on at the time.

Nice job. Looks good!

I added a second hose with a shut off valve. I'll use this second hose to fill up a bucket whenever I change the water on my fiances 20 gallon tank.

Danger, that's a good idea. I'll have to see if they have those when I go back to get the correct fitting. I'm hoping I'll be able to get this done tonight.
