Just a few pond geek questions:
Do you mind giving the specs on the filter system? Is that the waterfall weir that your filter is dumping into? What is the other line coming in, a UV? Did you install a bottom drain?

The filter is a challenger 50 made by fluid art it is a bead filter, the fish shop I work at is the dealer for them on the east coast (Thats why I could afford one, I saved for a loooonnnggg time). It has a 3/4 hp pump and yes that is a proclear 30 watt uv. I plan on putting a bamboo screen in front of the filter. The water feeds in to a 75 gallon tub which spills into the waterfall. It will be all koi any maybe a hign fin shark. The store that I work in is one of the leading koi dealers in our area (Virginia) We get koi direct from japan several times a year.
