Moving on from the Tank Security question http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/threads/tank-security-question.673293/ Finnally in a position to start filling and stocking this :)

Tank Spec 90 x 24 x 30 280 gal, it is a foot longer than I remembered. It has gone from a 243 gal to 280 gal :D:D

It sould have had an overflow in each back corner as well as a center as a center overflow, but we did not realise until it had been unwrapped so first job is to fit an overflow as each end.Thread here http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/threads/fitting-a-weir-overflow.674168/
It is going to be filtered by a FX6 and a Eheim 2078 which should provide enough filtration, originally it was going to be a sump but I have moved away from that idea.
It will also have and auto water cahnge system in so the level is always constant to ensure there is enough water going over the overflow for the filters.
It will be fairly well planted and will be a community tank Loaches and Fire eel is as far as I have got with the stock( I have some clown loaches that need a new home) would welcome other suggestions.
Unsure on the lighting will be a mix of LED and T5's at the moment.
I will probably have a few more thoughts on stock and the way forward. But if you have any suggestions
Hopefully over the next couple of weeks this tank will start to come together

Add a true freshwater moray, koi- angels, discus and a Redfin pikerel and tiger striped knife fish and a whole lot of plants

Why overflows for canisters?
I have the canister filters already and wanted to use them.I am hoping tto use the bulkheads to drain to filters
The two back corners have been drilled as when this was planned it was gonna be used for a different setup. Long and the short is that I would prefer to use the left hand hole for a auto drain and the right hand holes at the back for an additional fIlter.
I am just a bit concerned that in the event of a bulkhead leak I dont drain the whole tank or have to to repair.
If that makes any sense ???
There may be a better way to do this
not sure
