I live out in the middle of knowwere in upper WI. The power is always going out in the winter here. Well you would think I would have leaned my leasson. I woke up the other morning, relizing the poweer went out again I stumbled into the kitchen looking for a flashlight after finding at least 5 that were dead I found a lighter and made my may into the livingroom to find a huge pool of water. I spent a few hours cleaning up the floor, and I relized it was time to finally hook up a drip set up. All my tanks have wet/drys so it was easy. I dont know why I didnt do it sooner. I must have cleaned up floods 3 or 4 times before I finally put one in. I even new how much water I could put into the tanks before they would overflow, But I would get lazy and put to much water in just to get an extra few days before having to add water again. Well this is the best $50 I have ever spent. no more adding water, and best of all NO MORE FLOODS. I have 3 tanks on a drip setup with a overflow running from the wet/drys all into one 2" line that goes into the basement into the sump pump and gets pumped out into the yard a few times a day. Its great. The only thing I think I did wrong was They only had 1 gph drips at menards, So Im replacing 24 gals in each tank a day. Wich isnt to bad- I turned the heaters up a little bit. But I havnt had a problem yet.
