Well, we first planed on going to savanha, but my father and I, decided we don't want to go. So My mother,sister, and grandmother, will be going to savanah. While my dad, girl friend, and I will be going to Miami. Went out today, spent 100$ on tackel, air pumps ( have to hook it up to the boat battery ), and other items. Bringing 6 rods and a fly rod, got directions to some hot spots, and plan on heading out at 4:00 am, saturday morning. Will arrive at our fishing spot at around 8:00 am, will grab food,drinks,etc... and head out for some fishing. I will post pics if we catch anything :). Wish me luck!! :grinno:

Dont plan on bringing anything back that will go in a tank exsept maybe some wild oscars. But what ever we catch that is good eating; P-bass,snake head, tillapia, large mouth bass, jags, etc... we plan on eating. No I'm not keeping any, because i'm having some problems with my tank, and i dont have room. Wish I could but sadly I can't :(.

Wish me luck everyone, I will be posting pics even if we dont catch anything. we are bringing our flats boat, so if we dont do good on the shoore, just gona have to chase the fish!
 
Hope it will be, I decided today, that i dont wana bring any fish home. Just gona catch and release them all. Unless there not native to the water, than we gota help out the world and eat them :drool:
 
Good luck.....What if you were to say catch a 2" fish whos name can be related to "slithery caranium" lol would you really not keep it?:naughty:
 
sadly no :(. I dont believe in keeping certain types of fish. If its not allowed than there most be a good reason for it. Though there all over fl waters, i still wouldn't. This trip is just to scope some areas out and see where the best spots are. I plan on going down again for a collectin trip, within a couple months depending on how this trip goes.

hopefully i can find out where different types of fish are and what food they prefer. than I'll do a huge collection trip for chichlids, and fw flounder, and possibly Pbass... Not sure yet though.
 
Cool beans. I guess it's just coast envy. lol I'm sure you wish you could go snow boarding or something, I wish I could go grab a S.H. out of the river right by my house....Good luck again.
 
I actully was gona go to a summer camp up in canada, and go snow boarding. But turned it down, decided to spend time with my girl and her family. Its actully not that much for me to drive down to miami, cost more time than anything else
8 hour drive ( there and back ). But I'm getting some throw away cameras, and bringing my digital, so hopefully we will get some fish pics. 4 people = 8 Peacock bass to keep and eat :). Anyone have good recipes for Pbass?
 
I said i'm going? I leave saturday 4:00am, i arrive at 8:00 am. We are staying there till 4:00pm than arrive home at 8:00 pm. Its just a fishing trip not a collection trip. The collection trip will be another day.
