Finrot or damage due to aggression?

Just noticed the tail part of my new ornate seems to be damaged?
this was not there last night. Could it be due to aggression from my male ornate?
Any advise? the aquarium has 1 tablespoon salt per 5 gallons.
Should i be worried?

seperate since the male's aggression would just worsen the wound. Just keep water para in top condition and add salt. If things doesn't improve after a few days, do 1/2 dosage of melafix.

how often do you do wc's? ANd how many bichirs do you have in there? If only 2....get 3 or so more to spread aggression. We all know fish do better as 1 or 3 or more

Will try to find another ornate
i do weekly 30% water change for my tanks.
