fins spliting?(discus)

now maybe this is normal but i dont know. the top fins are spliting one was starting when i got it and now about 6 months later another one is starting. it starts in the front and will go back 3 or 4 of the little ribs in the fin like a bird fether not sure if that makes sence or not i have been tring to get a pic but it dont show up in the pics that i have got sofar. now i dont think its from another fish picking on it everyone gets along fine. so what is it and how do i stop it

do you mean like the fin spine things are sticking out at the top looking like spikes?? i always just thought it was growth cuz my juve sev has that going on... i think it looks cool

180g (48"x24"x36")planted. 8 discus, 1 small arowana, 1bgk, 3 elaphant noses, 3 singapor shrimp, and 1 twig cat water tests are all good

and yes it looks like spikes on top but i dont think it hapens from groyh becaus i have some that are older and biger that dont have this

aro is a silver. as for pics i have been taking some but it dont show up in the pics i will try to get some tonight

I can't see anything wrong with your fish. Actually, your discus' fins seem fine to me.
