So I have a pair of FBT's and the female has really gotten fat over the last few weeks. I have seen the male holding her and he is almost constantly calling. What is the trick to get them to lay eggs. I can figure that since she is so fat she must have a bunch of eggs in her system ready for laying but I cant seem to find any eggs yet and was just wondering if there was a trick to getting them to drop out.
ANY help would be great

Plain and simple!

1.Connect a 2-3 foot piece of flexi tube to a powerhead

2. Cap the other end of the tube

3. Poke small holes in the tube about 1/2 to 1 inch apart.

4. Cut some Q tips that are hollow inside to make little 1/2 inch straws

5. Place the straws into the holes

6. Affix the tube to the cage cover

7. plase the powerhead in the water and let it rain!!!

Your tank should be mainly water for keeping most amphibian pets anyway.

Well Super G. Thats sounds like it would make for a very cool looking tank.
Of course it is mostly water with some land for them and the crickets to live till dinner time.
I have a powerhead running now but it only pushes the water around. I will pick up some tubing on the weekend and get started on that.
Thanks a million!!

I wanna see some pics of this. Sounds like it would be awsome.

I will be building it this weekend and I will take a pic when complete.
It sounds to cool not to try

Well it seems that I jumped the gun!
My wife called to tell me she saw a sack fall off of the female when she moved...So I went home for lunch. WOOOHOOO...I can see a gooey sack with tiny black spots in it.
BUT I still plan to "make it rain" on the weekend.
