Fed the 220 krill today and was watching my new 18 inch fire eel eat. Dang that thing can put down some krill!

Yes we have one that is over 3 ft eats 3-5 earth worms a night blood worms and shrimp. It gets expensive lol
My fire eels have always had a big appetite, once I got them eating. I only feed them once every three days but when I do, they gorge themselves. I hand feed them two night crawlers each at every feeding, and then I alternate between frozen krill and the frozen seafood mix I make up from Walmart frozen products. The frozen mix I make is definitely the cheapest, but I like to keep a bit of a variety in their diet. I have dumped 18 night crawlers in before and my three fire eels ate all of them in about 15-20 seconds.
