It's Caribsea Torpedo Beach, I believe it's a quartzite sand. I love this stuff. It's heave enough that it doesn't get kicked up into filters when you vac it, but still fine enough for loaches and other substrate eaters to find their food.

whats up with those marks??
is he sick?

I am not sure what those are, but I have noticed most Fire Eels have them. Not an infection, but I would like to know what causes this as well.

I got at the store I work at. Check ebay or your local caribsea dealer.
