Im getting a cheap 8' Fire eel next week,

It will be going in a 120G (4x2x2) running an FX5, AC70 Powerhead and 30% Weekly PWC.

Just wondering if he'd be okay for a good while in that size tank, and how he would go with the tankmates. I personally think he should be fine:

6'' Ornate
2 x 5'' sens
2 x 4'' dats
4'' Bala
4'' Rainbow shark
3'' pictus
3'' ctenopoma
2 x 3'' silver $

Tank has gravel bottom, thinking about going back to sand or even BB. Decor is sparse, do I need more?

You probably will want more hiding places for your fire eel. They like to rest with entire body under cover, just their head exposed. If the gravel is deep enough and not sharp edged, that is where you will find him until he gets bigger. I think your tank is big enough. You will love your fire eel....post some pics when it arrives!
