are fire eels nocturnal? what r some of there fav foods? or any other helpful tips i jus got 1 thats 6-7" and i dont kno muchabout them

mine prefers to be fed during the day and will eat any kind of worm (blodworms, glassworm etc...) mine also learned to handfeed from 5" long.

night crawlers are a great food, never tried mealworms but wouldn't do any harm to try

any insect larva as well, buying frozen blood worms or other food that is vitamin fortified is a good idea

Mine is very active during the day and will eat anything I hand-feed him.

Mine likes bloodworms and red wigglers.
