Fire eel tankmates

Any ideas for a tankmate to go with my 16in fire eel in a 55gal tank

Anything that won't fit in its mouth or try to eat it. I've kept a lot of different fish with my Fire eel. Mbu, Dat, Cichlids, Bichirs. It's all about preference.

I meant more to point towards the variety that can be kept. Definitely no Mbu in a 55. Course, the fire eel will be cramped in their eventually.

AT SOME POINT THE EEL WILL GO INTO ONE OF MY LARGER TANKS THATS WHY I NEED A TANKMATE SO WHEN HE MOVES I STILL HAVE FISH OR A FISH IN THAT TANK
