I also just got my fire eel to eat after around 2 weeks but 2 months is pretty long I guess try all live foods and worms and try shaking it in front of his face

My 3-4 inchers were hitting the bloodworms within 30 mins of being in the tank from the LFS. Now they are hitting 8 inches and seem always wanting to be fed at all times hanging out in front of the tank with their heads sticking out of their hideouts (they literally have tons of places to hide) now have been painstakingly trying to covert them to pellets/sticks with no success. One is into cut up shrimp. The other one, not successful but it's still getting fed somehow I think snails. Meh prefers smaller mysis shrimp and bloodworms as treat of course is given 2x a week they're piggies. I think they are more confident if they had so many places to bolt into being more active?
