I am wanting to get a fire eel for my 150 g tank. I am concerned with the compatibility with the other fish and wonder if it may pose a problem. The tank has 4 parrots, 3 gold severums, striped raphael all about 6" long a 10" chocolate pleco. I do weekly 50% water changes. Do you think there may be any problems? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

as long as the eel was big enough the rapheal can't eat it. and not being farmilular w/ chocolate plecos, if they will e at slime coats from other fishes. I wouldn't be concerned unless one of your fish are overly aggressive for the species. my 3 fire eels live with a boisterous Oscar and hold thier own. Long as the eel has plenty of hideing spots I wouldn't be concerned I don't think about the sevs or parrots. I'de querry the pleco secions as to the chocolates compatability/aggression level. otherwise I'de not hesitate personally to do it.

yeah i think that would be ok but make sure the fire eel is about 6" because it will escape throw tiny holes.
