Fire Eel

So after a few months, I was rearranging my tank for the first time in a while and accidentally crushed my M. Dayi. He passed away last night and was buried then. My LFS has a few large Fire Eels. I miss having an eel. Would a large, 10+ inch fire eel be okay with my 8 inch Ornate Bichir, 6 inch Teugelsi, 6 inch Albino Senegal, 5 inch Senegal, 5 inch Clown Loach, and 4 inch Geophagus/Satanoperca Jurupari?

He’ll be okay, but make sure the rest of the fish can eat too. Fire eels can be aggressive eaters, I have a 14 inch eel with my 6 inch bichirs.

I too have a fire eel with my ornate and they’re fine together. They’re about the same size too. Once you get the fire eel eating, it can be aggressive. I feed whole shrimps to mine and sometimes it can’t get the whole thing in his mouth then my ornate comes up and steals it lol. I just break them in half if they’re a little too big.

Yes as long as the fire eel doesn’t fit in the arowanas mouth.
