I don't think so, at least not by much. There have been two members here with eels of each species (one had a TT, the other a fire) at around the 40" mark, and both eels looked to be pretty equal in girth from what I could tell.scott s;4797615; said:Tire tracks and fire eels are very comparable in adult size.
