As long as you aren't stupid and respect fire, it can be an extremely beautiful, untamed thing.

I love to go backpacking mainly for the reason that you get to have campfires! Hahaha

I know a guy that got reall messed up by a campfire. One of the logs fell out of the fire ring and he decided to pick this RED hot log bare handed and put it back in the fire. He didn't flintch wince or anything just went back on drinking. The next day however He had to go to the ER b/c his whole palm was a giant blister. He said they told him they couldn't use any anestic on him b/c of the location or something. So all they did was cut the blister off and scrub his open wound with what he said felt like a wire brush. The next month his hand was wraped and He has never lived it down. lol

lol I guess I should have left the if out like you sugested. but I know I don't need someone to tell me not to do something like that sober. But I know at least one person that needed to be told that drunk but it was to late.
