So this project has been going on for about a year started with 5 got hit with a sickness lost one was down to 4 right not a big deal, All seem to have much different growth rates and as they reached sexual maturity i was left with 3 males and 1 to small to sex. 2 have been put in the grow out pond to test fertility later and my biggest and unknown are currently in a tank together seeing if i can get them to pair, IF I CANT get a F2 of the firejags i will most likely take the Best male to a albino firemouth, and try that project out.

Thanks man! So plan is with these bad guys is i'd rlly like to get a F2 50:50 cross but if cant will back cross to a albino firemouth then get that gen 3 albino firejag 75:25 mix use that to like a FH or one of my texas or rainbow texas. Have a friend who has a firejagh male i gave him and i think hes gonna pair to his dovii, or his flowerhorn. Then the ones in the pond have the opportunity to spawn with Cyanos, tecas x salvini, Female texas x cons, and rainbow x texas. and since they're the only males i expect some babies from them this summer to fall. will pull them out late September early October.
