Firemouth/Convict

How hard is it to get a firemouth and COnvict to cross breed and how

hmmmm not to sure im doing a breeding project to find this out and see what they look like.

ok... i can tell you what im doing as my convict and firemouth just laid eggs 3 days in to my project..

first make sure there all alone in there own tank.... next feed cichlid-waffers and live feeder fish........ give them a sandy bottom and 2 flower pot plus a few flat rocks just in case. next turn temp up to 85F.... then in 1 day turn temp down to 75F then repeat..

I hear about these two fish cross breeding all the time, but I've never seen a picture of one...be interesting to see a full grown one.

yeah and some look and convict with firemouth coloring the pics above was caused by i think a male firemouth and female con.
