I'm not sure exactly how old these are - the parents were in a log for about three days. The fry came out two days ago. When would you advise that I separate the fry from the parents? Once before the female laid more eggs within a few days of the fry appearing and then ate them all.

Im feeding live brine shrimp and First Bites twice a day.

The fry are beginning to free swim so I say they are about a week or two old. My old pair eggs started free swimming at 8 days old. I've heard you could leave the fry with the parents till they reach young adult hood. So about 1"-2" . I made the mistake of moving them away from the fry and the male killed the female. So I would try to leave them as long as possible.
