firemouth grow rate

i have a firemouth and the firemouth always going after my corys ,so i need to put in a different tank and i do have a 40cmx20cmx30cm tank , so iam asking what are there grow rate like. thanks

well how big is it to begin w/? one they get to be like 3-4" they kinda plateau out or at least slow way down......do you know the sex? males get a lil bigger w/ longer trailers on the fins. firemouths are kinda ornry fish they will pester smaller tank mates if not left in check.......mine gets owned by the Female GT she hates the firemouth.......startin to think the Fm is female also
