Firemouth lost color

I've had this female firemouth for a week and at my lfs it had fire from its mouth to its tail when I brought it home it lost its fire and it's been a week I feed my fish spectrum maybe it's because it was in a tank with lots of other firemouths at the fish store, I don't know.

But other then that she looks healthy and I'm not keeping her with any super aggressive cichlids

Yes but at my lfs there was a tank full of juvenile firemouths and they all had nice color but this one in particular had it from its face all the way down to the tail it's a female by the way

I don't even think there could be a dominant one there was like 30 of them and there an inch 1/2

If its not the water then my guess is your tank being aesthetically different than the store tank. Lighter tanks can lighten the color/fish and darker tanks can darken the color/fish.
