My firemouth was attacked by another cichlid and was injured. Some of his scales were missing. A couple of days later he developed pop eye, and then I noticed he also has a hole in his head. I have kicked up the temperature to about 84. I started adding salt to the water with my water changes. Is there any hope for the fish?

you should quarantine him or move him away from the other fish that injured him. give him plenty of air and keep your lights off.
