Firemouth Tankmates

Hi,

I have recently bough a 125 ltr tank from a colleague of mine. There are only 2 Firemouth's in there at the minute so i want to build a little community. The slight problem being me and the other 2 lads i work don't have any experience with Cichlid's.

Would somebody be able to suggest what kind of community i should build around the 2 Firemouth's?

You can add live bearer like Swordtails and even a cooler water specie of Tetra.

That size aquarium can easily house a decent shoal of Tetra.

I apologize just realized it is just 125 ltr.

33 gallon is small personally would leave it be. A couple of livebearer but keep up with wc's.

Personally I would do Swordtails but either could work.
