Firemouth woes =[

Ugh, so two days ago one of my firemouths was nipped on the mouth. It looks really nasty.
I did a water change, and added some aquarium salt. But he's hanging out in a pot, he'll come out every once in a while. He's breathing fine, but resting on the bottom of the pot. He's so pretty I'd hate to lose him.\

I have that stuff with stress relief and electrolytes in it, should I be adding that?

He's got such nice coloration, poor guy

your good right now, as long as he is eating he's good. i notice with all my meeki's, they love to hide.

he just swam to the surface, lingered there, and let himself slowly drift down back to the bottom...

Their mouths are pretty delicate considering how feisty they are. He should heal up, and the salt should help.

thanks. he's temporarily in a breeder net now, to keep him from further assault. don't want him to be vulnerable to the others

He seemed to be getting better, and his colors were more brilliant than usual, but he just couldn't pull through...

His tankmates will miss him, so I'm looking to get another guy soon...=[
