firemouth?

hey i just went to alll the pet stores in my area and i found a little fish store called New Wave.... has anybody heard of it?

any way they have a fish in stock called a firemouth and it looks identical to a pirahna....

has anybody ever heard of thees? is a spiecis of piranha?

i asked if it was in the piranha family and he said yes... then i started asking questions so i think i scared him and he said it wasnt in the piranha family.....

after i asked alot of queestions i asked if it had meat and he said no... it is not a red bellied pacu i know that, it looks like a red bellied pirahna that is about 4 inches

it was a red fin on the bottom and a sharp structure

firemouth cichlid? looks nothing like a piranha to me...
its a new world cichlid though

Looks like wimple from that pic. They probably just had the wrong tag or a funky name for it.

from that pic they look like red hook silver dollars, which are sometimes called fruit eating piranhas, they also sometimes have red coloration around their mouths which would explain them being called firemouths
