could i put a discus in with firemouths in a 125

How many discus? How many firemouths? How big are all of these fish???

Generally speaking, yes. That should be fine. Firemouths are generally only aggressive to each other or display con-specific aggression when breeding.

No, FMs will stress discus out. Besides, discus require supersoft water kept at 86F. This may prove to be harmfull to FM in the long run

Stab's probably right. I've never kept discus. I was basing my info on experience keeping FM's.

the water conditions are what would get you sure the FM's could stand it but it wouldnt be good for them!
