First attempt at a planted aquarium

Hi,

I plan on putting mostly grasses, Moss, and a few swords in a 100g+ What kind of fish would anyone suggest to me,

First I plan on having one Black ghost knife and about 25 maybe more rummy nose tetras anyone have a reason to tell me no? It's been a long while since i Have kept a tank,

the knife will prey on and eat the tetras and it's bulky size may uproot plants , you should get some beautiful discus and rummynose or cardinal tetras.

All the black knife i have had before loved the plants, they hid in them and just poked their heads out at you like an eel .

I have my heart set on keeping another knife, is there any plants that are a bit tougher? that might handle bigger fish? ones that dont dig atleast

i'd go with discus with cardinal tetras or wild angels with cory cats or something. depending on where you live you could go with piranahs too. i'd probably pick the discus tho.

Discus and plants are not a good mix IMO, unless you know how to care for both. There is no problem with a ghost knife and plants. Not sure where that myth came from.
