Hello everyone. This is my first attempt at breeding and I have decided to go at it with Gold Gouramis. I currnetly have the male and female seperated and feeding them bloodworms . I will be introducing the male to her tank next week. I'm new to the hobby. I have only had my 55 gal tank 3 months. I also have another 10 gal that has a gold fish and beta (for the kids). I have 5 Giant Danios, 2 tinfoils, 1 albino shark, and a gold gourami in the 55. I have not had any problems with the tank thus far minus one incident with an ick out break. Set temp to 27 degrees c and treated with pimafix, and problem hasnt come back. I will be listening to the forum for your experience and suggestions . Thanks.

Feeding the gouramis bloodworms twice a day. I'm hoping for the best. He is making bubbles in the tank he is in now, but not what I would call a nest a this point. You think that will change once I put him in with the female.
