Alright So I previously cleared out my 55gallon tank to do a tank full of firemouths... I have 5 firemouths. a pleco and an oscar in the tank. recently put sand in the tank and haven't had the time to get driftwood/rocks. My ideal plan was to breed these firemouths since I have never done that before. They are probably 2 inches long or so. Today I was putting some pellets in and noticed one of firemouths getting really defensive. flaring up and then saw some little spots on the sand.... looks like a big pile of wiggling eyeballs. Now I didn't expect this to come so soon so I have NO CLUE what to do... I'm assuming the pleco or the other firemouths will end up eating them or something.... but any help would be nice. thank you!

Also. in that last picture... The one that isn't flaring is the only one he/she lets by the eggs... Are these the parents? If so which ones the mom which is the dad?
