Please don't give me bs about "u teenagers make me sick with ur expensive cars ur spoiled etc". I understand that and i'm sorry if you weren't able to get such a car. There are kids at my school with m6's, custom range rovers, etc. Go bother them.

So it's kinda early, but I can't stop thinking about cars and which I should be looking to get. My favorite car in the world is the bmw x6 m, but there's no way I'd be able to afford that.

There aren't any guidelines really, I'm not even sure if I want a sporty or classy car, I just don't want it to be tacky, ugly, unsafe, etc.

I was looking at the mazda rx8, but now im thinking its kind of ugly and too light.
I like bmw sedans a lot, but im scared maintenance will kill my wallet

Here's a quote from my mom on budget. ""Eh, 25,000 eez good, 30,000 eez ok, ebove dat ehhh."
 
Buy a Pinto. Save your money for a 450+ acrylic tank.

Here are the facts.

You will wreck your first car in an accident.

Your 450 tank will not get into a traffic accident.

25K30K, hm...squeeze as much as you can from your mom.

cause when you go to college you can pump her for 50K.

Really? Because im paying the 20% down payment and most of the monthly payments, kindly gtfo.
 
With that money, i'd buy a used m3 :).

Are you planning on buying used or brand new? IMO salvaged is the way to go. It's cheaper and does not lose value as quickly as brand new or even used cars.

I bought my car salvaged for 8k and put another 4k fixing it up and im super happy with it.

Also you won't wreck your first car as long as you don't drive like an idiot. I've had my first car for 5+ years and haven't wrecked it yet.. Let's hope i don't LOL

I'm really not sure if I want a used or new car yet, I don't really know anything about salvaged cars, what kind of car do you have?

And thank you for that, I'm not like the stupid kids in my school planning on drag racing and stupid **** like that, and unlike half of my school, I don't drink, smoke, or do any of that garbage. And I'm not getting this until I've had my license for 6 months- 1 year.

ur paying the montly payments? what job? and thats not insurance. good luck with insurance. its a heck of alot. depending on where u live, for a 30k car ull be paying 2k(min) a year without a ticket. get one and..........

even on ur parents plan its alot dude. u should get a cheaper car.
my buddy with a 14k car, pays more in insurance that his montly payment. he is paying 2k on his 14k car. and its safe. he has 1 ticket. my other buddy with a 6k car, and 1 accident and 1 ticket, was paying 500 a month. of course he changed companys. lol. but still its alot dude.
