FIRST CATCHES!!!!! in FL

OK - first netting attempt!!!

Several water scorpions - way cool!

1 Pickerel (?) faded green, minimal markings.

1 TINY 3/4 inch BROWN fish, chocolate brown, with blue eyes. Looked like a Badis.... WHAT IS HE????

I did not keep either of them.
 
The brown fish - I suspect is a native, but ??????

Both were in a tiny drainage ditch approx 2 hours north of Tampa
 
Tell me about it.... couldn't get a digital cam in time!
 
Go to walmart and get one of those 10-12 dollar disposable cameras, but make sure you get a quality one and not the cheapest they have. Get them developed at walmart and for like a couple dollars more you can get a CD made...viola pics for us pic whores to enjoy of your trip!! Oh and if you happen to drop it in the water (it happens when you are fishing) you wont be out too much money like you would be with a digi!
 
I have been doing that :) Thanks! But didn't take one of that fish.... kicking myself now...
 
Looked on that list previously - no luck...

Never knew any FULL BROWN fish, with no markings whatsoever, with a badis shape to it, with blue eyes to boot. DAMN - should have kept it.... duh...
