First cichlid in new tank

Here's the first addition to my natural cichlid tank. By natural I mean sand substrate and live plants and real driftwood. Nothing artificial. Picked this beauty up today, he or she is about seven inches.

You should paint the back glass black, it will hide the cords

Heres what I used, worked good and is cheaper than buying a black background, plus you wont get water inbetween your glass and background. Cost me only like $2.29 for a can and thats all I needed

I have the exact same fish and this little guy is very aggressive. He spends most of his time chasing bigger peacocks around the tank. Now I put him in solitude.
